Take Pride in Yourself

Hi, there, how are things going? Being part of the community, I totally understand the feelings of fear, anxiety, and uncertainty when we try so hard to figure out things about us, possibly, also when we try to converse with our significant others while being stressed out by thinking about what they would be thinking.

I am not an influencer nor a politician. I am here to purely leave a warm message to those who happen to pop by and who happen to need these words.

I would like to tell whoever is still struggling with identity crisis or anything difficult (and yes, it's likely to be you!) that everything will be alright. We all deserve to be deeply loved and to actively love others. Things may not be all good in just one second, and it may even take longer than a day, a week, or a month. But as long as we hang in there, insisting, things will eventually be fine.

Remember, you are brave, and you shine ⭐️

A Song For You

This song is "Boys In The Street" by Calum Scott. He chronicles how he went through a difficult time with his father due to his sexual orientation. From the severe warning of "stop kissing boys in the street" to encouraging him to "keep kissing boys in the street," he portrays the criticism he's been receiving from his father and how his father's attitude changed over time. His father finally realized that what he had been taught was not necessarily reality, and he is now unsure if "men only love women."

The song resonates with me emotionally, and I somehow could hear his disappointment in himself for not meeting his family's expectations, but at the same time, his frustration and confusion with his identity. The process was challenging, especially without the support of his significant others. I hope through the song, you find that you are not alone, and there is a group of people who are also as brave as you, attempting to figure it all out under harsh circumstances.
